Shotcrete and Gunite
Shotcrete, like gunite, is concrete that is applied by force. So why use one over the other? The main difference between shotcrete and gunit is the streangth of material when cured. Shotcrete is concrete mixed off-site with aggregate that is delivered to the site ready for application. Gunite is a water-concrete mix that is prepared on-site.
Gunite is generally considered a lower streangth product. But is suitable for most temporary excavation shoring and some slope stabilization conditions. Having Barrier on your side guarantees that your next shotcrete or gunite application is complete success.
